Our one year anniversary is NEXT WEEK! What a blessed and spectacular first year of marriage Jacob and I have had. (Note: Home Remodel Project is considered part of Year 2 trials and tribulations!) We head to our Bozeman Winter Wonderland in 2 short days for a much needed escape from the project and to celebrate US. Remember when...

Another Saturday Morning, another 6:45 AM wake-up call. But, at least the weather is on our side! Breezy, 70 degrees, with no rain in the forecast. Jacob is playing Supervisor today. We have four men outfront building up the rest of the walls to our new master bathroom. Last night Jacob was able to knock out and smash our old (I am talking OLD) master bath and bedroom windows. What a glorious sight!! Those windows were a complete eye-sore, and I am so excited to see concrete block in their replacement. Issues arising now are dust, dust and more dust. Now that the bedroom is exposed, the dust is seeping in the house pretty fiercely. The windy conditions has not helped, and the Swiffer Jet has become our new best friend. Looking forward to seeing the walls completed this afternoon! But, another long day in store for Jacob for sure.

I will apologize now to all our neighbors. Last Saturday, the ceiling was removed from our car port and front porch area. I am pretty sure the banging noise rattled our entire neighborhood circle. But, what great progress! In a short seven hours, all the wood planks from the car port ceiling were removed, nails stripped, and ready for recycle.
