The "Dog Room" Demo

Those of you who frequent the Theisen Residence know that our dogs have taken over our den as THEIR ROOM. Finally, the day arrived to demo this space to make room for a formal dining room, built-in wet bar and china cabinet. Pretty sure words cannot express how thrilled we are to have this space back from our "children" and make room for some entertaining! The room is currently being prepped to raise the ceiling 6 inches and install our brand new AC unit.

Back in Action


Last week, Jacob put his hard hat back on and successfully managed (along with Mr. T) the roof addition to our master bath. Thank gosh the Florida weather has come to its senses providing sunny days with the temps in the low 80's. We are now in a race with Mother Nature to finish the rest of the outdoor renovations before the temps start creeping towards 90.







Time to Regroup

We have stepped away from the blog for a few weeks...our apologies. After a much needed vacation to Bozeman, we returned with a renewed sense of motivation to continue on this remodeling adventure. Some days are the toughest we have been thru in our marriage, and then other days (when we think about the final product) we are truly on cloud nine with excitement!
