The month of April has revolved around framing, framing, and more framing. As of this week, the two new additions have completed the framing and roofing process! We can now see the outline of our new front elevation and it is simply gorgeous. Make sure to check out the updated April photo album. Our front yard was quite chaotic at times. (I presume our neighbors called it the junkyard). But, thanks to Jacob's persistence to keep this place livable for his family, the front yard is impeccable in my eyes.
Coming up this week...the concrete truck returns for its final appearance to form our front porch landing and steps. Also, time for us to make the final decision on the new front door. Double-door, single-door, wood, glass...so many options! Stay tuned to find out what we select.
